Man Accused Of Throwing Water Bottles At Greenwich Store Employee

A Connecticut man who had been banned from a Fairfield County store was charged with criminal trespass for allegedly throwing water bottles at a store employee.

New Haven County resident Douglas Brown, age 67, of West Haven, was charged on Saturday, Sept. 2 for a report of causing a disturbance at the CVS Store at 99 Greenwich Ave.

When officers arrived, they found Brown had entered the store that he was banned from for a Friday, Aug. 25 incident in which he threw two water bottles at an employee in front of several people, said Lt. Ted Latiak, of the Greenwich Police.

Brown was charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct and released.
